Appetto verde pays homage to the tight interlocking pattern of twill used in weaving tweed, one of the few fabrics that have maintained relevance in its original form for centuries. Lines of hand quilting extend across a twill weave dobby check linen fabric, balanced by a natural coloured dobby check fabric on the reverse. Finished with a contrasting ivory and black woven ribbon trim, this coverlet weaves together textures and tones to create a sense of tactility.
