Green & Ivory Floral Lithograph 2

Since 1947, this small authentic Atelier business based in the US has passed their creative passion down through the generations from fathers to sons, offering a collection of traditional art prints that capture rich and beautiful subjects and artists of eras gone by. All of the images are reproductions of antique book plates originally printed from the 1600’s to the early 1900’s. The production process is the same today as it was in the late 1700’s.

Each image is hand pulled through the press creating the black outlines for the print, then the prints are individually hand water coloured to reproduce the subtlety of the original colour. Each exquisite hand water coloured image has a quality, radiance and beauty that will simply take your breath away! The natural artistic process of water colour on fine paper results in variations in the paper’s contour, giving each print that distinctive hand painted appeal. Each fine quality print is then embellished with hand painted French matting and fine framing.
